lol, yes...I did manage to write a poem all by myself. And yes, it's very realis..ah..ah..achoo! realistic. :)
I'm sorry to hear it, hope you get better soon.
Though I dont mean to be critical or anything, for indeed it is a well written poem that flows together nicely and just makes sense (unlike a lot of poem's I've read), might I suggest that you use a Thesaurus to get some big, non-George Bush'able words in there. ;)

"singing is a chore"...thats how i felt during Boot Camp. i had a cold for about a week and a half, but nothing was going to keep me from going to BC!
